The project consists of the conversion of an historic two-story mill building—the Shaw Building—and an empty parking lot within the Newburgh East End Historic District. The existing mill building is to be transformed into a mixed-use complex with a cafe, gym, and retail workshops located within the old loading docks. Twenty residential units are located on the second floor. A new apartment building is located on Edward Street that will house another 37 residential units ranging in size from studios to 3-bedroom apartments, some with private entrances and garden spaces.
